Kabbalistic Numerology: What Is It Really, and How Is It Different from Regular Numerology?

If you are wondering what Kabbalistic numerology is and how it is different from regular numerology, I want to explain it in a simple way, from my own point of view.

I am Fibi Elgabrilitz, a numerologist, astrologer and Kabbalist, and I have been working in this field for more than 45 years.

Over the years, I have met many people who came to me during periods of change, uncertainty or difficulty. Sometimes they wanted to understand themselves better, sometimes they were facing an important decision, and sometimes they simply felt that something in their lives was not working.

For me, Kabbalistic numerology is a way of understanding a person more deeply — their character, their natural tendencies, the periods they are going through and the possibilities available to them.

So, what is Kabbalistic numerology?

In Kabbalistic numerology, I do not look only at the date of birth.

I also look at a person's name, the letters and their numerical values, and the connection between the name and the date of birth.

According to the Kabbalistic tradition, Hebrew letters and numbers have meaning. So the name we are given is not simply what people call us — it can be an important part of understanding a person.

Sometimes I examine a name to understand someone more deeply. In certain cases, when a person is going through a difficult period, I also look at whether changing the name may be appropriate.

I remember a woman who went through a very difficult period in her life. When I examined her name, I felt that the letters in it were connected with an energy of seriousness and hardship.

I recommended that she change both her first name and surname, and I chose letters that I felt would bring her more luck, peace and calm.

Since then, she has also changed her place of work and told me that she feels much happier.

In Kabbalah, there is great importance given to the names chosen for babies at birth, but an adult can also change their name at a later stage in life.

For me, the name and the date of birth work together.

What is the difference between regular numerology and Kabbalistic numerology?

Today there are many calculators and websites that calculate numbers from a date of birth.

They can be interesting and give you a starting point, but for me they are only a small part of the picture.

In Kabbalistic numerology, I want to understand the person behind the number.

What suits them?What are their strengths?What are their challenges?Which patterns keep repeating in their life?And what could help them move forward?

I do not believe that two people are the same just because they have similar numbers.

Every person has their own story.

How can numerology help during times of important decisions?

One of the reasons people come to me is because they feel they are at a crossroads.

It can be about their career, relationships, family or a personal decision.

I remember a woman who came to me because she felt she was in the wrong place professionally.

She had studied a particular field mainly to please her parents, but the work did not suit her and did not make her happy.

When I looked at her chart, I saw another field that could suit her much better, and I suggested that she study computers.

She followed my advice, studied programming and became a programmer.

Today she tells me that she loves her new work, and she is even planning to open her own business in programming in the future.

These are the moments I especially love in my work — seeing someone suddenly understand that they have the possibility of choosing a path that suits them better.

And what is the connection between numerology and astrology?

I do not work with numerology alone.

The combination of numerology, astrology and Kabbalah allows me to look at a person from several different directions.

The numbers can help me understand a person's personality, tendencies and patterns.

Astrology can add another layer, especially when it comes to timing — what is happening during a particular period and when it may be a better time to act.

This combination is an important part of the way I work.

Why do people come to me?

After more than 45 years, I have seen that people mainly come to me for three reasons:

Career, relationships and understanding their personality.

Some people want to understand whether they are on the right professional path.

Some want to understand their relationship or gain clarity before an important decision.

And some simply want to understand themselves better — why they react in certain ways, why certain things keep repeating in their lives and what is really right for them.

Sometimes a person does not need someone else to make the decision for them.

They simply need to see things more clearly.

What have I learned after more than 45 years?

Perhaps the most important thing I have learned is that every person is unique.

No two people are exactly the same.

Each person has something they need to continue, something they can take with them, and something they can give to others.

I believe that each of us brings something different to the world — and when we connect with one another, together we create life on Earth and our connection to the universe.

Numerology and Kabbalah allow me to look beyond the number itself and try to understand the person's soul.

For me, it is not simply a system of calculations.

It is a way to get to know a person, understand them and give them a perspective that may help them continue on their path.
